Alternative Mobility &ndash; focus on Pilsen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\t<b>Competition now closed<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\n\tCan you imagine a city offering various modes and experiences derived from transportation? How do you envisage transportation that not just enables residents and visitors to reach their destination, but one that also creates value in terms of positive impact on people&rsquo;s well-being, experience of the city and the city&rsquo;s attractiveness as a tourist destination?<\/p>\n<p>\n\tWe would like to invite you to propose innovative ideas on how to make this vision happen. Together with Pilsen 2015 and the Urban Planning and Development Institute of the City of Pilsen, Aspen Institute Prague has opened a competition titled&nbsp;&quot;Move Up! Alternative Mobility &ndash; focus on Pilsen&quot;. The winner will receive 25 000 CZK for implementation of the project, which will further be promoted by Pilsen 2015 &ndash; European Capital of Culture.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAny adult person, a group of them or a company can propose a new and innovative product, service, experience or an application that meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tEconomic efficiency&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tInnovativeness &ndash; originality and value added<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tNecessity&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tAvailability &ndash; no social or age group should be limited in use<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tDesign<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tSafety for user and surroundings<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tFeasibility to implement the proposed solution within the funds offered to the first prize winner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\tPrimarily, the proposals should build on existing geographical, social, cultural and infrastructural conditions in Pilsen, yet the proposal can also be applicable to other places.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe deadline for submission of your proposals is 20:00 CET, <strong>October 26, 2014<\/strong>.
