The Aspen Annual Conference „The Shape of (Central) Europe“<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, which we\u00a0organize in cooperation with\u00a0the Economia media house is since last year preceded by regional debates. We are heading to the regions of the Czech Republic as well as\u00a0to other Central European countries, this year with themes\u00a0interconnecting five traditionally monitored areas of development.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0debate focusing\u00a0on security &\u00a0innovations<\/strong> was held on October 3 in Warsaw<\/strong> on the occasion of\u00a0Warsaw Security Forum<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0organized by\u00a0Casimir Pulaski Foundation<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0Tom\u00e1\u0161 Pojar<\/strong><\/a> (CEVRO Institute), the head of\u00a0our expert group for security & innovations, presented the conclusions of the Aspen expert study for 2019<\/strong> in his remarks on the roundtable that\u00a0was also attended by gen. ret. Petr Pavel<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0R\u00f3bert Ondrejcs\u00e1k<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic. The debate was chaired by Ji\u0159\u00ed Schneider<\/a><\/strong>, Executive Director of The Aspen Institute CE.<\/p>\n
