Trust in Machines and AI.<\/a>\u201d<\/em>, on January 23, an invitation-only workshop \u201c<em>Building the Future: Addressing the Opportunities and Challenges of an AI-Enabled World\u201d <\/em>organized within the framework of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspeninstitute.org\/programs\/nextgen-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aspen Next-Gen Network<\/a> took place in HubHub, Prague. Prague was the third stop of this series, which started in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspeninstitute.org\/events\/aspen-mexico-nextgen-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mexico<\/a> in October 2018 and was followed by an event in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspeninstitute.org\/events\/aspen-germany-nextgen-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Berlin<\/a> in December 2018. The\u00a0workshop was supported by Microsoft and the Aspen Institute, and allowed for a meeting of Central European experts on AI from the public, civic, academic and social sector.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspeninstitutece.org\/people-profile\/pavel-kysilka\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Pavel Kysilka<\/strong><\/a>, 6D Academy, opened the event and welcomed all the participants. Introductory presentations <em>\u201cHow do we deliver ethical AI in society?\u201d <\/em>and <em>\u201cHow can we leverage AI to address societal challenges?\u201d<\/em> were given by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspeninstitutece.org\/people-profile\/alzbeta-krausova\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Al\u017eb\u011bta Krausov\u00e1<\/strong><\/a>, Legal Researcher at Institute of State and Law, Czech Academy of Sciences; and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspen.review\/author\/aleksandra-przegalinska\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Aleksandra Przegali\u0144ska<\/strong><\/a>, Assistant Professor at Kozminiski University and Research Fellow at Center for Collective Intelligence, MIT, respectively.
