Albright Leadership Award Laureates for 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Entering 2026 with our Aspen Annual Conference, we also announced the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspeninstitutece.org\/programs\/aspen-central-europe-leadership-award\/\">Aspen CE Madeleine K. Albright Leadership Awards<\/a><\/strong>, honoring the achievements, inspiration, and positive societal impact of young leaders. The ceremony at the Aspen Annual Gala Dinner 2026 was opened and appreciated by Vice-President of the Aspen CE Board Dita Charanzov\u00e1 and Founder and Supervisory Board Chairman Ivan Hod\u00e1\u010d. We also thank the Aspen Institute CE Executive Director Tom\u00e1\u0161 Klva\u0148a as well as the two masters of ceremony, our alumna Ema \u0160\u0165astn\u00e1 and our Geopolitical Consultant Matthew Heibel, who guided us through the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With gratitude for their contributions to society, we introduce the 2025 laureates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspeninstitutece.org\/people-profile\/bara-starkova\/\">B\u00e1ra St\u00e1rek<\/a><strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0head of D\u00edky, \u017ee m\u016f\u017eem. An NGO that annually organizes Korzo n\u00e1rodn\u00ed, attended by tens of thousands of people. The event is a commemoration of the Velvet Revolution. She is also an alumna of our Aspen Young Leaders Program and one of the Forbes 30 under 30.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Zs\u00f3fia Szlamka<\/strong>, a developmental psychologist, researcher, and an entrepreneur. Her research interests include cross-cultural mental health service development, workplace mental health, and caregiver interventions for developmental disabilities. SHe is a Co-Founder of Let\u2019s CEE and Research Lead at Orygen Global.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The award offers long-term support for both award-winning personalities, inclusion in the Institute\u2019s global network, and the opportunity to participate in international activities and events organized by Aspen Institute CE partners. Through the Aspen CE Madeleine K. Albright Leadership Award, we seek to honor lesser-known stories of leadership and courage that deserve recognition, particularly in these challenging times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cIt took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;said Madeleine K.
