He completed his dissertation on contemporary theories of democracy in 2014. He had earlier academic stays at Indiana University (USA) and the University of Oxford (UK). \u0141ukasz started working as a journalist in 2008. In the years 2013-20 he was the managing editor and then also the chief of the political section at Kultura Liberalna \u2013 a leading Polish liberal magazine.<\/p>\n<p>He is now a freelance political commentator and advisor specializing in Polish and American politics. He is the author of many interviews on these subjects with, among others, Anne Applebaum, Martin Wolf and Fareed Zakaria, as well as Polish top politicians including former prime ministers and presidents. His articles appeared in Polish and foreign media such as: \u201cGazeta Wyborcza\u201d, \u201cOnet\u201d, \u201cPolityka\u201d and \u201cFinancial Times\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020 he published his first book \u201cDruga fala prywatyzacji\u201d (\u201cSecond wave of privatization\u201d). He co-hosts a weekly podcast on American politics and society called \u201cPodkast ameryka\u0144ski\u201d (\u201cAmerican podcast\u201d).
