New US Administration: Discussion with DAS Matthew G. Boyse

On May 12, 2021 the Aspen Institute Central Europe hosted another online discussion on transatlantic relations, this time with a representative of the U.S.Department of State Mr. Matthew G. Boyse, Deputy Assistant Secretary, who oversees policy towards Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. The discussion was moderated by Cameron Munter, Senior Fellow of Atlantic Council and Fellow of the CEVRO Institut.

This virtual conversation focused on what Central Europe can expect from the new Biden administration. DAS Boyse also responded to questions and touched upon issues regarding U.S. priorities towards the EU, democracy promotion, foreign policies of Central Europe, 3 Seas Initiative.
