Prague, December 15 – Lord Cameron, former Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, will travel to Prague on January 29 to speak at the annual conference of Aspen Institute Central Europe, a leading regional platform for transatlantic dialogue. The thirteenth edition of the conference, titled Europe and the United States: One Future?, will bring together a wide range of senior political figures, experts, and leaders from business and academia at Prague Crossroads.
Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, has been invited to take part in the conference as a keynote speaker and to receive an Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Defense of Europe. Alongside Sikorski and Cameron, the program will feature prominent international and Czech guests, including former Prime Minister of Finland Mari Kiviniemi; Lt. Gen. (Ret.) DeAnna Burt, former Deputy Chief of Space Force of the United States; globally recognized cybersecurity expert and former Avast CISO Jaya Baloo; EU Commissioners Jozef Síkela and Maroš Šefčovič; President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Miloš Vystrčil; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Jaromír Zůna; Minister of Education Robert Plaga; Jan Švejnar, leading global economist founder of CERGE-EI and professor at Columbia University in New York; and other distinguished experts.
The conference program will focus on five key areas shaping the future of transatlantic relations: geopolitics, transatlantic trade and European competitiveness, early education, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, and energy security.
