Adéla Chalupová

Adéla Chalupová works as a Nuclear Power Plant Operator at Temelín and is a passionate advocate for clean energy. She dedicates herself to bridging the gap between technical expertise and public understanding of nuclear technology. Her professional journey began during her studies of nuclear engineering at the Czech Technical University, where she was involved in research and development at UJP PRAHA.

Over three years, she focused on nuclear fuel development, publishing and presenting her research at numerous international conferences and workshops. This specialized academic foundation prepared her for her current role as a secondary circuit operator at NPP Temelín, where she contributes to ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. Beyond her responsibilities in the control room, Adéla is committed to shaping the future of energy through education and outreach initiatives.

She actively popularizes nuclear science and sustainable energy through her Instagram account (@adela.chalupova), where she offers accessible insights into the world of nuclear power and promotes greater public understanding of clean energy technologies. Adéla was recently included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for 2025. She had the opportunity to participate in European Commission discussions on small modular reactors.
