Flóra Éva Hevesi

Flóra Éva Hevesi is a Research Assistant at the CEU Democracy Institute (DI). She holds an MA in Public Policy from Central European University and a BA in International Relations from Corvinus University of Budapest. Her research focuses on polarization, democratic innovations, citizen engagement, and political psychology.

Beyond research, she is actively involved in DI’s societal impact initiatives, working to advance the “third mission” of universities by bridging the gap between academia and the wider public. She is committed to opening the ivory tower of academia by making research knowledge more accessible and engaging for policymakers, civil society, the media, and the general public. In her previous roles, she gained experience at international organizations such as the International Press Institute, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
