
Jan Bartkowiak
Jan Bartkowiak is the President and Founder of Econverse, Poland’s leading startup NGO. Currently based in San Francisco, helping foster the Polish innovation ecosystem in the Silicon Valley. Selected for Schwarzman Scholars Class of 2026. Since debuting at the National Stadium in Warsaw in 2022, Econverse supported over 5,000 high school and university students, gaining the backing of leading experts and brands, including Poland’s National Development Bank, Orange, Google for Startups, and Microsoft, and expanded to Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary with Econverse V4 in the Fall of 2024.
For his entrepreneurial accolades, Jan became a Rafal Brzoska Foundation Scholar. He was also recognized as Transcend Network Fellow, and spoke at Said Business School Oxford University, the European Economic Congress 2024 in Katowice, and ImpactCEE 2024 in Poznan. Econverse was also selected Laureate of the Emerging Europe Awards 2023. Jan majors in Economics at Minerva University, studying in 7 global cities over 4 years (San Francisco, Seoul, Taipei, Hyderabad, Berlin, Buenos Aires, and London). At Minerva, he engaged in interdisciplinary coursework in Finance, Law, Design, History, Tech, and Public Policy.
