Nela Červenková

Nela Červenková is the founder of the non-profit organization Zkratky života, z.s., dedicated to raising awareness about social exclusion in the Czech Republic. Together with her team, she actively engages on social media and has launched a video podcast that provides a platform for socially excluded individuals—including people experiencing homelessness, disabilities, or addiction—to share their stories. Nela is also the winner of the Social Impact Award Czechia 2024.

In addition to her work with Zkratky života, Nela currently works as a PR specialist for AKS – the Association of Community Mental Health Services, which supports 51 member organizations. She also works as a tour guide in Prague and is pursuing a degree in Social Work at Charles University. Her involvement with NGOs goes beyond her own organization. She completed an internship with People in Need in the Czech Republic, volunteered for five years with ADRA, and gained international experience through the European Solidarity Corps, supporting communities in Nocrich, Romania, and Ankara, Turkey.
