Olivér Pilz

Olivér Pilz works at the Budapest City Hall, currently as Policy Secretary to the Mayor of Budapest. He previously worked at Budapest’s City Diplomacy Unit, where he helped expand the Pact of Free Cities mayoral network, launch the Budapest Academy of City Diplomacy, and the annual Budapest Forum on Building Sustainable Democracies conference.

In 2019, he led the successful election campaign of Budapest District I’s first left-wing mayor. Oliver holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Central European University and a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from Durham University.
