Patrik Jahoda

Patrik Jahoda is a leading Czech handbiker and paracyclist whose journey through sport reflects both resilience and passion. Born and raised in Prague, he first found his calling in football and later excelled in waterskiing, becoming a multiple national champion and European Champion in 2007. A life-changing spinal cord injury in 2008 ended his waterskiing career but led him to paracycling, where he quickly rose to the international elite in the H1 category.

He has since represented the Czech Republic at top competitions, including the Paralympic Games in Tokyo and Paris. Alongside his athletic achievements, Patrik has a strong interest in the humanities, particularly history, and briefly studied at the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University. Currently taking a gap year from sport to focus on mental health and new adventures, he remains engaged in global affairs and supports meaningful causes, always striving to make a positive impact beyond the race track.
