Adam Poloček

ADAM POLEČEK is an Economist and Lawyer passionate about financial regulation and data-driven policymaking, but curious about numerous topics from energy through urban planning to human rights. He dreams of leading the integration of the European financial markets. He holds two Master’s degrees from Charles University, one in Economics and Finance, and another in Law and Jurisprudence. His economics thesis received the Outstanding Thesis Award and FINDIPLOMKA prize. He currently works in the European Central Bank’s Market Operations directorate, where he works on monetary policy implementation in international financial markets. Previously, he worked in Banking Supervision on liquidity and securitization topics, in the Supervisory Technology team and in Financial Research Division. Before joining the ECB, he worked in the Boston Consulting Group.
