ALEXANDRA LACINOVÁ works in public administration and has been part of the Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs since 2021, where she focuses on family policy. Her work centers on strengthening support for families, expanding access to and improving the quality of early childhood education and care services, promoting work–life balance policies, and contributing to the international agenda on family policy through cooperation with international partners. She gained experience in the European policy environment during a traineeship at the European Commission in Brussels and through her involvement in international working groups focused on supporting children and families. Alex studied Public and Social Policy at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University in Prague, where she also teaches a course on family policy. She works to challenge common stereotypes about public administration and aims to bring public service closer to younger generations. She is also active in the Byro platform, which connects young professionals working in public administration. Believing that lifelong learning is essential, she is currently further developing her expertise by studying diplomacy. In her free time, she enjoys travelling and practicing yoga.
