ANNA WÓJCIK is Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Fellow at Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany, and Assistant Professor at the Institute of Legal Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland (currently on leave). She has co-founded two rule of law monitoring projects: The Wiktor Osiatyński Archive (online resource in Polish) and the Rule of Law in Poland (online resource in English). She was a Re:Constitution program fellow at Democracy Institute, Central European University in Budapest,
Hungary and a Rethink.CEE program fellow at the German Marshall Fund. Anna is an academic and practitioner with expertise in the rule of law and human rights. She has commented on
these topics for Polish and international media, and covered it in depth for OKO.press, a renowned online portal from Poland. She is currently pursuing research on discriminatory legalism in the rule of law backsliding context.
