Dániel Szabó is the Head of Department at the City of Budapest responsible for the coordination of decision making, citizen engagement, IT and records management. He is a  re:constitution Fellow from 2022/2023 on the relationship of the political level and the bureaucracy in governments.  

Previously he worked on the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary at the Hungarian Helsinki Committee. Dániel is a former member of the Hungarian National Election Commission on behalf of Momentum, a political party. Dániel also worked as a journalist and provided legal support to journalists with a strong focus on freedom of information. LL.M. at Central European University in Comparative Constitutional Law.
