
Dita (Přikrylová) Formánková
DITA FORMÁNKOVÁ is a social entrepreneur and digital skills advocate, recognized among Europe’s leading voices in life-long learning and inclusive leadership. She founded Czechitas in 2013 and, as Founder & Non-Executive Director, has built one of Europe’s most impactful gender-inclusion tech nonprofit, empowering over 100,000 women and youth through digital skills training, advocacy, and systemic impact. She also co-founded the Inspire & Impact Network, supporting women leaders in midlife with inclusive leadership and digital upskilling, where she drives community and technology strategy.
Since 2016, Dita has worked as an independent Digital Skills & Lifelong Learning Expert, advising ministries, corporations, and international institutions. She serves on the Czech Government’s Interdepartmental Committee for Digital Education and contributes to advisory boards including Česko.Digital and previously Social Impact Award International.
Earlier, as Director of Diversity, Inclusion & Communities at Avast Software (2020–2023), she led the company’s first global D&I strategy, achieving measurable gains in representation, pay equity, and belonging.
She helped initiate projects such as Powercoders (Switzerland), DataGirls, Greenfox Academy CZ, and 6D Academy. Recognitions include the European Citizen’s Prize, Forbes 30 under 30, SXSW Community Service Award, and TOP EU 100 Women in Social Entrepreneurship.
