Jan Břížďala is a member of the Vysočina Region Council responsible for education, youth, and sports, as well as information technology and communication technology. After graduating from the Faculty of Science at Charles University, he worked as a high school teacher of mathematics and chemistry at the Třebíč Gymnasium and the Pozďatín Agricultural School, which he founded during his university studies. He has been involved over the long term in the field of education, creating electronic study materials, textbooks, and contributing to the development of competition tasks and Olympic competitions for talented students. He has held a public office in the leadership of the Vysočina Region since 2020.
