Jan Juchelka

2023 Conference Speaker

Jan Juchelka is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Komerční banka (KB). He has been with KB since 1999, initially serving as a member of the supervisory board, and then gradually progressing to become Director of the Prague Business Division of corporate banking and a member of the board. He also worked at the Société Générale headquarters in the field of Corporate and Investment Banking, where he held the position of Managing Director and Senior Banker for Central and Eastern Europe. He is a member of the CCEF, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Modrá pyramida, Chairman of the Board of the Jistota Foundation, and as of June 2023, President of the Czech Banking Association. He has received prestigious awards such as Manager of the Year, Responsible Leader of the Year, and Banker of the Year. He was awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Mérite for outstanding contributions to the French nation in 2023.
