Jana Neupauerová

Deputy Director

JANA NEUPAUEROVÁ  joined the Aspen Institute Central Europe in November 2024. She initially served as Program Manager, where she led the Aspen Young Leaders Program in  and the team preparing the Annual Conference, while also coordinating smaller events for the Aspen Alumni Community. She has recently transitioned into the role of Deputy Director, focusing on how the organization works with its network of more than 600 alumni and partners to turn discussions and connections into tangible outputs and collaborations.

Jana brings over 15 years of experience in program and event management, particularly in initiatives supporting young people and social impact. She managed the Social Impact Award Czechia at Impact Hub, helping early-stage changemakers develop and scale their projects. At the Vodafone Foundation, she led Vpohybu supporting youth-organized festivals and other activities and Rok Jinak for business professionals taking a career-break to drive change at nonprofits of their choosing. Earlier in her career, she worked in the corporate sector as a PR and CSR Manager at Samsung Slovakia and later as a B2B Marketing Specialist at Samsung Europe.

As a mother of three, she is drawn to principles of minimalism and essentialism, which shape how she works—focusing on what matters most, simplifying, and moving projects forward. She studied Political Science and International Relations and has travelled and lived in the United States, South Korea, and Germany. She enjoys connecting people across sectors, supporting young leaders in finding their voice, and helping ideas move from discussion to action.
