Jindřich Fryč is a graduate of the Faculty of Education at Charles University in Prague. After his university studies, he joined the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, where he worked as Director of the Youth Department and, subsequently, Director General of the Section for International Relations and European Affairs. Between 2012 and 2014, Jindřich held the position of Deputy Minister for Education, and was appointed Secretary General of the Ministry in 2015. His long-term professional focus involves the field of education, with an overlap into international relations. He is a recipient of the French Order of the Academic Palms for services in education, science and culture (at the rank of Officer), and the Grand Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. Currently, he is the Deputy Minister for Civil Service at the Ministry of the Interior. Jindřich now intends to apply the experience and knowledge he has gained during his professional career in the field of civil service as a whole, with the view of increasing its efficiency and improving the status and perception of civil servants in society.
