Karoline Edtstadler is an Austrian former criminal judge and politician who has been serving as minister for the EU and the constitution at the Austrian Chancellery in the government of Chancellor Sebastian Kurz since 2020. Over the course of her career, she was a policy adviser in the cabinet of the Minister of Justice and worked as a State Secretary in the Ministry of the Interior. As a Member of the European Parliament, Edtstadler served on the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and on the Subcommittee on Human Rights.
