
Kateřina Polanská
KATEŘINA POLANSKÁ currently works at the Office of the President of the Czech Republic, where she has served at the Cabinet of the Head of Office since June 2024. She is responsible for both operational and expert activities related to the work of the Head of Office. Previously, she worked at the Aspen Institute Central Europe from 2018 to March 2024, for last two years as its Deputy Executive Director. She primarily focused on the conceptual development and operations of the organization as well as the values-based leadership programs and engagement with the network across the international community, partners and the alumni. Beyond the operational and strategic management, her background is in conflict transformation, dialogue and encounter work, she worked at a peace and reconciliation organization in Northern Ireland or was involved in a project focused on conflict resolution at schools held under the Czech Ministry of Regional Development. Further, Kateřina is trained as a mediator and studied English, Conflict Transformation, International Relations, and Economics in the Czech Republic, the USA and France.
