Kristýna Coufalová

KRISTÝNA COUFALOVÁ studied Statistical Science at the University of Oxford and began her career in Prague, working as a data scientist for a U.S.-based corporate team and later as an investment analyst at a Czech investment fund. Over time, she realized she was more driven to build than to analyze, so she left to pursue entrepreneurship. She is now building Learniva, an AI-powered platform aiming to democratize access to high-quality education. The goal is to make personalized learning, once available only through expensive tutoring, accessible to anyone, and to help close the gap between students from different socioeconomic backgrounds. She is motivated by the belief that talent is evenly distributed, but opportunity is not, and that technology can help change that. Outside of work, she is passionate about sports, particularly CrossFit, which shapes her resilience, and competitive mindset.
