Luca Dudits is an Executive Board Member and Head of Communications of Háttér Society, the largest LGBTQI organization in Hungary. She returned to Hungary after studying in London and obtaining her History, Politics and Economics degree at UCL where her main research topic was social change in post-socialist Hungary. During her studies, she also mentored disadvantaged students in debate and public speaking and was involved in providing consultancy services for social enterprises via a university society. She joined Háttér in 2020 and has been mostly involved in awareness-raising campaigns and advocacy efforts, eventually becoming one of the most visible faces of protests against the new laws of the Hungarian government.
