MARTIN KALOVEC is a seasoned strategic leader with over 23 years of experience driving high-stakes transformations across Europe and the United States. Martin spent over two decades at Boston Consulting Group navigating complex corporate landscapes, including 11 years as Managing Director and Partner. As a former member of the CEE Management Team, he specialized in large-scale post-merger integrations within the telecommunications and banking sectors, leading landmark projects such as the integration of global cybersecurity players and mid-size CEE banks. Today, Martin leverages his deep operational expertise to back courageous founders in the tech ecosystem. As an Angel Investor, he supports early-stage startups—including StartupYard, Medevio, and SmartGuide—bridging the gap between rigorous strategic planning and entrepreneurial agility. Martin holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Charles University and further honed his analytical perspective as a visiting scholar at Stanford University.
