Martin has worked in telecommunications on leading cases and projects for more than 10 years. Currently, he heads the regulatory department of T-Mobile. He has earned experience from “both sides” – large telecoms (Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom) and state authorities, including UK’s OFCOM, the European Commission or the Czech competition watchdog in Brno. He likes to get to the bottom of the complex investment business cases from a legal perspective to ensure the company stays safe. With a background in legal and economic studies, Martin’s tasks vary from competition law analyses, new legislation to negotiation with regulators. His desire is to make a proper decision over a big deal in telecoms, where you need to be a little bit of a technician, a bit of an economist, a bit of a lawyer and a big part of a strategist.
