
Michal Zima
MICHAL ZIMA graduated from Charles University with a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, as well as in Media and Communication Studies. After completing his studies, he worked at Charles University in a number of managerial positions, including University Chancellor. At the same time, he was a member of the Rector’s Board. He was also actively involved in academic self-governance, serving as a senator of the Academic Senate of Charles University and as a member of the Internal Evaluation Board, which focuses on ensuring the quality of education, research, and other creative activities of the university. At the same time, he served for three years as Vice-Chair of the Council of Higher Education Institutions and as Chair of the national student representation. Outside the academic sector, he worked in the field of Public Affairs at Orlen Unipetrol. Since February 2026, he has been working at Charles University as a member of the Rector’s Board responsible for operations and internal processes.
