Mimi Hoang Lan Nguyen

Participation in the Aspen Young Leaders Program surprisingly helped me to calm down. I gained perspective and learned to prioritize better. Thanks to that, I am more focused at my work and I feel stronger than before.

MiMi Nguyen Hoang Lan was born in Saigon to an artistic family, with both parents as artists. In 1993 she moved to the Czech Republic, where she graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. She has been a successful fashion designer since founding the brand “La femme Mimi” in 2007. Her flagship boutique is located on Štepánská Street in Prague. The first presentation of her work was at the Czech Center in 2007. Since then you could see her collections at Designblok, the Prague Fashion Week, the Modeplast Vienna Fashion Week or the Shanghai Fashion Week. In 2012 she was described as one of Europe’s most talented young designers at MODEZONE Linz.
