Peter Bročka is the Mayor of Trnava, a city in Western Slovakia. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Trnava and holds a degree in International Business Law from the Central European University in Budapest. Prior to his election in 2014, he worked at the District and Regional Land Office in Trnava and later at the Ministry of Transport, Construction, and Regional Development of the Slovak Republic. Afterwards, he worked as a specialist lawyer at the Railway Company, Cargo Slovakia. Having experienced public administration and governance from both sides, he perceives change as necessary. As a mayor, Peter strives to change the city of Trnava for the better and increase quality of life for its citizens.
