Petr Šmíd is Google Country Marketing Manager for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. He started his career at McKinsey & Company, where he spent seven years analyzing the banking and healthcare industries. He holds an MBA from the Global Alliance in Management
Education (CEMS) and the Business School for the World (INSEAD), and is passionate about education – he leads workshops for students, professionals, or startups. Life-long learning is also an important part of the Google’s Digital Garage program, which since 2016 has helped more than 300,000 people and businesses in the Czech Republic safely use the internet and digital technologies to find jobs, develop careers or grow their businesses.
