Rafal is a Polish-German graduate of MA International Relations and former holder of the Carl Lutz Scholarship from Andrássy University Budapest (AUB). The former Ambassador of Austria, Dr. Ferdinand Trauttmansdorff, supervised his master’s thesis in the field of diplomacy. After this, Rafal participated in the UN Climate Summit COP24 by supporting the EU Council Presidency. This experience inspired him to return to AUB as a doctoral researcher focusing on climate and environmental policies, where he was awarded a Ph.D. Scholarship of the Hungarian State. Rafal has developed into an advocate of sustainable development and democracy. He is an external relations officer for V4SDG – Visegrád for Sustainability. He has also become a climate coach for the EIT-Climate KIC network of coaches
