Tomáš Prouza is the President of the Confederation of Commerce and Tourism of the Czech Republic, Vice President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of EuroCommerce and a Czech economist. Before returning to the private sector in 2018, he served as State Secretary for European Affairs at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic (2014-2017) and as Coordinator of the Digital Agenda of the Czech Republic (2016-2017). His previous experience included working as a financial services expert and later as a senior expert at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., serving as Deputy Minister of Finance responsible for financial markets, the European Union and fiscal policy, and co-founding and running two successful startups.
