Vilém Anzenbacher

VILÉM ANZENBACHER graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague, where he received a Ph.D., and from the University of Economics in Prague, where he has also completed a second Ph.D. He is the Deputy Minister of Justice as of July 2025. He is the co-author of the new electoral law and several other key laws. He is one of the two authors of the Jubilee Year law, which helped tens of thousands of people escape debt traps, and he has co-authored many other legislative initiatives aimed at supporting individuals in debt. Previously, he served as an Advisor to the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Trade. William was the Chairman of the Board of one of the largest publishing houses in the Czech Republic and a Member of the Board of the Prague Chamber of Commerce.
