FutureEdu: The Future of Education in the Digital Age

On Wednesday, 14 September, the second edition of the all-day FutureEdu conference took place: The Future of Education in the Digital Age.

The conference combines keynote speakers with panel debates, where local and international education leaders discuss the main theme in different layers of issues. The aim was to reach not only the general professional public but also individual stakeholders and politicians with the topic and contribute to a better understanding of the rapidly changing education ecosystem in the country.

This year’s conference theme was the future of the relationship between education and advanced technologies.
🎤 At the conference, John Moravec presented a study that outlined the future of technology-shaped education.

🎤 Also speaking on the topic were Li Andersson, Finnish Minister of Education, Gonzalo Frasca, game designer and academic researcher from Uruguay, Aleksi Kalenius, Senior Ministerial Advisor at the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland, andprof. Ing. Michael Šebek, DrSc, from CTU.
