Libraries in Digital Age | Aspen Review Café

What challenges do libraries face in the digital age? What is their role in the 21st century? Are people still interested in borrowing and reading books?

Come and discuss these and many other issues with experts at another debate within the Aspen Review Café series.

The following guests will share their views:

  • Andrew Lass, Professor of Anthropology, Mount Holyoke College; initiator of the CASLIN (the Union Catalogue of the Czech Republic) project
  • Tomáš Řehák, Director, Municipal Library of Prague
  • Olga Škochová, expert in urban development

The debate will be chaired by journaist Silvia Lauder from the Respekt magazine.

The event is organized in cooperation with the Municipal Library of Prague and media partnership with Lidové noviny, Český rozhlas Plus, Ikaros and Čtenář.

The discussion will be held in Czech.
