Eva Bordos

Eva is an expert in citizen engagement with two decades of experience in international environments spanning public administration, diplomacy, and civil society. She has designed, coordinated, and supported deliberative mini-publics across Europe, advancing participatory democracy in diverse contexts. Among other roles, she has provided process design and technical assistance to the Council of Europe, as well as to the OSCE Presence in Albania, and has delivered training on deliberative democracy for public officials in several countries, including Ukraine, Türkiye, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is currently the Executive Director of DemNet Hungary, an independent NGO.

Eva holds MA degrees in law from Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and in political science from Central European University (CEU), and she is a doctoral candidate at the University of Potsdam, focusing on citizen engagement in constitutional processes. She is a 2025 Eisenhower Global Fellow and served as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Perry World House of the University of Pennsylvania in 2025–2026. In addition, she lectures on deliberative democracy at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest.
