Eva is a Czech snowboard cross athlete. She started skiing at the age of two and switched to snowboarding once she was seven. Since 2011, she has been steadily among the top racers in the world. She won the Olympic gold in Sochi in 2014, thereby winning the first gold medal for the Czech team and the historically fifth Czech individual gold from the Winter Games, within the Czechoslovak and Czech teams. In 2018, she won a bronze medal in snowboard cross at the Winter Olympics in Pyongyang. Since 2019, she has been World Champion and 3 times all over World Cup winner. Apart from her career in sports, she is engaged in various activities, such as horseback riding, surfing, trail biking, exploring and protecting nature, promoting a sustainable lifestyle and enjoying life.
