Filip Rožánek

Filip is a media analyst, journalist, and expert on new media. In July 2015, media house Economia appointed him Editor-in-Chief of the weekly magazine Marketing & Media, the largest and most read Czech communication industry publication. Until then, he worked as Innovations Editor for a daily newspaper, Hospodarske Noviny, where he created special online content projects and managed social media accounts. For more than eight years he worked for Czech Radio, the public service broadcaster, where he developed online projects and outlined strategic reforms of the news website and children’s broadcasting. He received the Czech Journalist Award in 2014 for his project that repeated the armed invasion of Czechoslovakia in August 1968 in real-time on Facebook and Twitter, using tools specific to social media.
