Kateřina Polanská was the Deputy Executive Director of the Aspen Institute Central Europe, where she worked from 2018 to March 2024. She was primarily responsible for the engagement with the network of the Institute, including the international community, partners and the alumni. With her background in conflict transformation, dialogue and encounter work, she primarily focused on values-based leadership and transatlantic programs of the Institute. Previously, she worked at a peace and reconciliation organization in Northern Ireland or was involved in a project focused on conflict resolution at schools held under the Czech Ministry of Regional Development. Kateřina is trained as a mediator and studied English, Conflict Transformation, International Relations, and Economics in the Czech Republic, the USA and France.
