Marie is a singer and musician. She was born in Litvínov, a small industrial town in the Northern part of the Czech Republic. Her roots have been very important for her music development and her perception of human society. After graduating from high school she enrolled at the Faculty of Humanities, at Charles University in Prague. This was the time when she started singing and playing the piano, which means a lot to the bands she is currently a part of – Kieslowski and Selective Mute. On top of her creative music activity, Marie has been working as Account and Project Manager in a small marketing agency called Aboxs for over five years. She says that working in advertising was more an accident than a wish, but she now enjoys it for the lack of routine.
