Markéta is a sociologist, psychotherapist, and the founder of Institute of Modern Love, an educational and therapy center focused on dating and relationships.
Markéta studied sociology at the University of Oxford and is currently a PhD candidate at the Charles University focused on sociology of love. Her research looks at technology in dating and at millennials’ approach towards romantic relationships.
As a psychotherapist, Markéta works mainly with millennials navigating the challenges of finding love and managing their relationships. Markéta also leads educational workshops aimed at relationship skills, writes a blog about dating and regularly speaks at both academic and non-academic events.
