MICHAELA BÓKOVÁ is a Czech music manager, producer, and vocalist. Since 2016, she has been the manager of Heartcore Records, the record label of legendary jazz guitarist and composer Kurt Rosenwinkel. In this position, she covers multiple roles related to creative project management, artist management, business planning, and record label/ artist branding. In 2017, she created a beneficial project series “Heartcore for the World,” and produced songs with children from Zambia, India, Ukraine, Berlin, Czechia, Brazil, and Nepal, featuring world-renowned musicians. In 2022, she started a non-profit organization providing access to music education for underprivileged children. Michaela is currently in the last year of her Ph.D. studies at Janáček Academy of Music in Brno, focusing on independent micro-companies in the recording industry and their strategies.
