Monika is a Histopathologist at the Royal Free Hospital in London, UK. She has been on an academic track since early medical school when she undertook a research internship at University of Zürich. After graduation from Masaryk University, Monika embarked on a clinical career in England and received postgraduate education across multiple institutions where she also served in several leadership positions, including Histopathology Trainees Representative in William Harvey Hospital and Education Officer for Histopathology doctors in London and south-east England. The aim of her leadership projects was to improve the training experience of Histopathologists. She has been further developing her academic interests at the University College London, Cancer Institute where she has studied bone tumors.
