Ondřej is a social innovation and impact investing strategist currently working at Karel Janecek Foundation. Previously, he was the Executive Director of the Vodafone Czech Republic Foundation (Nadace Vodafone). Before joining the foundation in 2011, Ondřej had for 10 years pursued a career in relief and development, leading missions of People in Need in Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Burma/Myanmar, and serving as a desk officer for South East Asia. He took a two-year leave to take part in the Geneva based Property Loss Compensation program for WWII victims. Ondřej graduated from Charles University in Prague, but he also studied at the Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada and University College, Galway, in Ireland. He loves to hike and is a recreational climber. He is married and has a son and a daughter.
