Pavel Zedníček is currently working as finance and operations manager at the Institute for Circular Economy (INCIEN). Pavel studied at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (VŠCHT) and completed his master’s degree at Utrecht University in the Netherlands in the field of Sustainable Business and Innovations. He completed an exchange study at the Swiss university ETH Zurich, focusing on material flows and climate models. Pavel participated in projects or internships abroad, including France, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and Shanghai. In the Czech Republic, he co-founded the Czech EIT Climate-KIC Hub, which focuses on supporting (technological) innovations that mitigate climate impacts. Its main focus at INCIEN is currently the potential of a circular economy to achieve climate goals in heavy industry, where industrial symbiosis plays an important role.
