Petr Jonák is the Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Director of T-Mobile Czech Republic. Since 2015 Petr has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic with a current responsibility for Sustainability and for EU internal market. He also serves as a member of the National Economic Council of the Czech Government (NERV) and as a member of the Academic Council of the Compliance Academy.

Petr graduated from the University of Economics in Prague and participated in the executive leadership program at the IMD Business School. He is interested in interconnecting different worlds and among other he served as a member of the upervisory board of the Aspen Institute Central Europe or as a Chairman of the Board of OKD Foundation.

He spent 5 years in media in the economic desk of the Czech News Agency and later as the correspondent of the Agency in Brussels and as an editor of Hospodářské noviny. From 2006 to 2009, Petr held a position at Škoda Auto Company, where he focused on Government Affairs and CSR. Subsequently, he spent seven years in the investment group BXR, where he was a leader of public affairs and corporate communication of the group and also worked in the top management of investee companies such as freight transport group AWT or mining company NWR. In the years 2016 – 2020 Petr Jonák has been working as a Director of Public Affairs, Corporate Communication and Sustainability in Coca-Cola HBC Czech Republic and Slovakia.
