Petr graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University in Brno with a major in National Economy. From 1997 to 2000 he worked with the International Institute of Political Science in Brno. In 2002 he joined the Department of Investment Support at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, where he was involved in supporting key technology centers and strategic service center projects and preparing new programs utilizing money drawn from EU funds. Since 2007 he worked at Škoda Auto in the External Affairs, where he was responsible for implementing the concept of CSR and supporting public infrastructure. In 2012 he moved to the HR Planning Department where he is responsible for social dialogue.
