Soňa is the founder and director of the Circular Economy Institute (INCIEN). She has been the director of INCIEN since 2015 and is actively involved in the transition from a linear to a circular economic system in the Czech Republic. Within INCIEN, she is responsible for the development of activities and co-operation with the key interested parties in the Czech Republic and abroad. She is a member of working groups at the level of cities, regions, ministries and government (member of the Climate Commission). She was involved in founding the Pale Blue Dot and Change for the Better platform, the consulting company CIRA Advisory and a platform connecting students with practice – Xflow.cz. She is also currently studying for a doctorate at Charles University. Her own motto is: “The changes we want to see around us have to begin with ourselves.”
